Marshall County Promise Fund
You can support the dreams of our children by ensuring that those dreams are matched with savings in the bank. Through college and career discovery events, college savings accounts, and the use of "Champions" who personally and financially invest in youth, the Marshall County Promise program helps make kids 3 times more likely to attend college and 4 times more likely to graduate!
“The Marshall County Promise program is an inspiration to all our families to focus on their children’s future. It is a great way to show our students that their family and friends care,” says Donna Burroughs, Superintendent of Triton School Corporation. “All the public school systems of Marshall County – Argos, Bremen, Culver, John Glenn, LaVille, Plymouth and Triton – are standing united in this goal to raise major funds to support our children in their career and college goals. This is all for the kids!”
Marshall County is one of only 18 Hoosier counties participating in the Promise program, providing rural students across all the county’s school systems with a unique edge for their post-high school education plans. Marshall County Promise is a partnership between the Marshall County Community Foundation, public schools in Marshall County, Ancilla College, the Marshall County Career Success Coalition and United Way of Marshall County.
