Dr. Brian Allen Zeider, Ph.D., was a Triton High School graduate. He was a chemistry and biology double major from Indiana University South Bend. While there he was known for his willingness to help others, his penchant for travel, and his diligence and perseverance. Brian engaged in undergraduate research at IU South Bend and summer research at the Ohio State University. He received his PhD in biochemistry from Western Michigan University in metalloprotein biochemistry. He continued as a medical research doctor at the University of Utah until his untimely passing in 2011 at the age of 31. The intent of this scholarship is to assist Triton students in pursuing a major in science.
