This scholarship was established by the Mt. Pleasant Church of the Brethren to honor the legacy of service of this historic peace church. Preference is given to students planning to attend Manchester College or another Church of the Brethren college and students pursuing a major in peace studies, preparing for the ministry or pursuing a career in areas that follow historic peaceful teachings of the church.
