Neil Germann Memorial Scholarship Fund

Bremen students considering studies in the trades after graduation (permanent fund)

The Neil Germann Memorial Scholarship was established in 2014. Neil German was a quiet and yet a very hardworking, dedicated, man who tragically passed away on August 11, 2009. He left behind his wife, Angie, daughters Erin and Kari, as well as a grandson, in addition to his parents and brother. As a tribute to Neil, two individuals from the Penn High School Class of 1980, Tom Laidig and Todd Zeltwanger, created a scholarship fund in his memory. The proceeds from the scholarship will go to one high school graduate from Bremen High School that is going into a technical field of study, a field Neil knew very well by working as a service technician for Wyatt Sales & Service for over 30 years. Although Neil was a graduate of Penn High School his daughters attended Bremen.
