MCCF Community Fund
Your donation to the Marshall County Community Foundation’s unrestricted funds may be matched 2:1 from the Lilly Endowment GIFT VIII program.
The unrestricted endowment fund, also called our Community Funds, are the most flexible and responsive funds at MCCF to address the current and emerging needs across the county. The bi-annual grants from the Community Funds support projects focusing on the arts, education, health and human services, recreation and environment and building quality of life.
The first grants from unrestricted funds at MCCF were awarded in 1995. Since then MCCF has awarded over $5.4 Million in total grants from these funds alone. The growth of the unrestricted funds now enables MCCF to award more than $290,000 in unrestricted fund grants on an annual basis. As the Community Funds grow, so does the power to support innovation and collaborative projects to make Marshall County a better place to live, work and play.
Contribute any amount to the Community Fund or start your own “named” community fund with a minimum gift of $5,000. Join the ranks of those creating a powerful legacy for future generations.
Gifts of cash, IRA assets, appreciated stock or life insurance are all welcome. Discuss various giving options with your financial or legal advisors or have them contact us. We are happy to help meet your charitable giving and personal goals.
Thank you for your support of MCCF.
P.S. If you are 73 years old, your required minimum distribution on an IRA qualifies for the GIFT VIII match to the Community Funds and TRIPLES your impact!
